Background
Port Dickson Golf & Country Club (PDGCC) is a proprietary club was developed and operated by Sinar Indah Sdn Bhd was completed in September 1992. Its principal activities is the operation boast an 18 holes Championship golf course, which is fully playable and a tutor style clubhouse. PDGCC is not the mere golf course.It has a host of others facilities , which explain why PDGCC is called “Paradise to Golfer and Heaven to Visitor” located in Mukin Si Rusa, the golf course was cut through a forest where the Rusa Deer was commonly sighted.
KING GRACE OPENING
The club’s history can be traced back to the army who maintained Garrison in Port Dickson, for many years cince 1961 when the Garrison golf course was first build, it helped to keep army officers and local golfers at ease with simple straightforward cow grass nine hole layout.
But eventually as the number of golfer increased, some senior army officer left the need for a bigger and better golf club. By later in 1992, a completely new layout was built and with it came a new name . Port Dickson Golf & Country Club.
On September 26, 1992 Port Dickson Golf & Country Club was officially opened by the 9th King, Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Dipertuan Agong. Sultan Azlan Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Yusuf Izzudin Ghafarullahu Lahu Shah.
Direction
Port Dickson Golf & Country Club takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from the city of Kuala Lumpur and Port Dickson – Seremban Highway. As you exit the toll, follow the Telok Kemang direction and at the roundabout make 3 o’clock turn and you will pass by Port Dickson Hospital on you right before reaching Port Dickson Golf & Country Club . We are 400 metre from the roundabout on right.
