Line Maintenance

We provided the “A” check support to Northwest Airlines DC10 from February 1999 till September 2001 when Northwest ceased its services into KUL.
In providing that service, KLAS Engineering was the only Northwest station in the Asia Pacific region that was not managed by a Northwest employee.
In the two years, we managed to achieve the very high performance standards set by Northwest of an average of more than 98.5%.

Technical Assistance
Our qualified and skilled staffs are capable and dedicated to provide technical assistance for all aircraft types. Aircraft safety and airworthiness is our prime objective in delivering the consistent quality during the transits.

Material Storage
We will monitor the shelf life of your parts and the stock inventory levels. Simply put, once you decide to place a part in the station, we will handle everything for you till the part is removed from the station. We have humidity & temperature controlled room, which is secured for the storage of aircraft parts.
Logistics
Logistics Support Section will handle all aircraft parts from point of entry till the parts arrive safely in your hands. This total care solution is further enhanced by our Customs Clearance handling.
Customs Clearance
As an authorized Customs Agent we will assist you for a fast and efficient clearance of your aircraft parts that may be urgently needed. We are a one-stop centre for all your material needs whether it is an import or export of aircraft parts.

Specialized Tooling
Equipped with special test equipment and tooling, your aircraft can be quickly returned to service. The immediate assessment and evaluation of a problem on your aircraft will reduce the time lost in the delay recovery.

Engineering Operations Centre
The Engineering Operation Centre (EOC), provides the link between the customer and KESSB. Equipped with communication equipment including VHF, the EOC ensures efficient and safe handling of your aircraft
