MORE THAN 40 YEARS IN PACKAGING
Hercules Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1970 with an initial paid-up capital of RM40,000.00 as a service company to supply reconditioned steel drums to the petroleum industry.

In 1976, Hercules began to diversify into manufacturing of drum tab seals and metal screw caps for jars. This was followed by the manufacture of crown corks in 1978, aluminium roll-on-pilfer-proof (ROPP) caps in 1982, lug (a.k.a. twist-off) caps in 1991, plastic containers for the paint industry in 1997 and by 1999, Hercules began producing 28mm 1-pc plastic caps for mineral water bottles and by 2001, 28mm 2-pc plastic caps for carbonated beverages. (With diversification into manufacturing, the reconditioning of steel drum business was gradually phased out and completely stopped by 1982)

From a humble beginning in 1970 in a rented shed in Petaling Jaya, Hercules now has 2 factories in Malaysia, a 50,000 sq ft and a 40,000 sq ft factory located in Shah Alam, Malaysia and a 20,000 sq ft factory located in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

Today, our core business is the manufacture of bottle caps and our objective is to be a regional supplier of quality closures – metal and plastic – to customers in every part of the ASEAN region and other nearby countries. Our policies are focused towards customer satisfaction via “Quality Products and Quality Services at Competitive Pricing”. Towards these objectives, the company has continuously invested into better and higher capacity machines such as :

– Crabtree Printing and Coating Line from the UK
– SACMI Crown Cork & Plastic Closure Lines from Italy
– DESCO Printing Line from the USA

Quality machines alone are not sufficient. The Management believes that the greatest asset of the Company is still its people. We are very fortunate that over the years we have built up a team of loyal and dedicated employees in each area of our Company – i.e. Sales, Production, Q.A., Technical and Management – all dedicated towards providing efficient service to our customers.
