K. D. Technology Sdn Bhd was incorporated in May, 1994 and was initially involved in the design, fabrication and marketing of a range of modular , versatile and energy efficient drying system.
Over 20 sets of such modular dryers have been installed and commissioned for drying of timber, certain foodstuff and gypsum products effectively in the local market, as well as Singapore and (one set) in New Zealand.

R & D works on drying technology for livestock feed meals produced from agricultural biomass has been part of the Company’s on going exercise.

The Company ventured into manufacturing of activated carbon using palm kernel shells ( a waste product / biomass from the palm oil milling industry ) in year 2000. Several hundred tonnes of premium grade activated carbon produced by the Company has been sold in the local market as well as exported to Asian Countries mainly for purposes of water treatment and gaseous phase filtration / purification.

As demand for such activated carbon has been promising owing to stringent quality control and competitive pricing , the Company is planning to expand its present production line in the near future so as to reap the benefit of economies of scale and to enhance export earnings for the Country.
