Miko Hair Studio has shown rapid success over the years and itsoutlets has been expanded to a total of 11 outlets since 1994,which are managed by more than 80 stylists. Miko Hair Studio is fully appointed by LOREAL as its Artistic Ambassador. The recognition is only given to 8 salons in Malaysia that have truly attained a standard of excellence, both in styling and customer service and satisfaction. Miko has won many prestigious awards such as the LOREAL Colour Trophy Central Zone Award Winner in the year 2003 and many more. Apart from that, Miko and his creative team have also been participating in all kind of fashion shoots for renowned artists, celebrities and models for local magazines and events. Miko Hair Academy, located in Bukit Bintang , was established in the year 2004. Conducted within the most stimulating and inspiring environment with moderation provided by City & Guilds, London and supported by Loreal Professionnel, the world’s most famous beauty brand. Students will be able to experience various forms of events, from salon work to hair shows, all of which are carefully planned to unlock their creative potential to excel in the business of making others look their best.

Miko Au who came all the way from Seremban, is now a highly well reputated & recognized celebrity hair stylist in the heart of the Kuala Lumpur city with having more than 20 years of experience being in the hair and fashion industry. He is also well-known for its Classic and Retro Fashion Sense. He start off only having a RM7000 by joining a hair styling course in Kuala Lumpur at a very young tender age of 17.

He earns his credit by styling shopkeeper’s hair in Sungei Wang, where he owns nothing at the time, but only with a tool box that he’s been carrying around that time. However, the ordinary tool box and his outstanding skills had made Miko into a fortune!

Miko Au’s involvement in the hair industru business came from his very desired passionate love for all the latest image styling within the entertainment & fashion industry. He wanted to extend his skills to his clients and therefore he started his first hair studio im Desa Setapak. Now, he owns a hair academies which is in Jalan Bukit Bintang the other 12 outlets which is Cheras Leisure Mall, Desa Setapak, Puchong Bandar Puteri, Kajang Prima, Seremban, Pavilion, Empire Subang, Mahkota Cheras, Puchong IOI Boulevard, Kajang Prima, Wangsa Walk, Alpha Angle.

Miko Au embraces life passionately at the forefront of hairdressing ever since young. Talented, inspired and motivated, Miko moved onto the world stage and worked himself up to the top. Currently he owns a network of successful hair studios and academies in Malaysia.

Miko committed himself to his work more than anything else. He strives to acheive his best in evething and he never gives up easily. Renowned for his unusual skills and flairs in hair styling, Miko endlessly enjoyed invatations from all over the industries and he has been part of many exciting scenes without fail.

Miko is more than a hair stylist; at also a fashion icon that is actively involved in variety of design and production projects which include magazine cover shoots, advertisement imaging, fashion shows, charity, workshop and etc. He has worked closely with Top Malaysian Designers, Photographers and Make-Up artist and believes that it has been an honor to cross paths with these professionals. The contacts that he has built over the years have been extensive.
